Alnclair Golden Retrievers

Australian Champion Alnclair Gillys Hero

Gilly above aged 10 years old leading the way in the Veterans' Parade at the 9th National Golden Retriever Show in Victoria.

Gilly is SO "full of beans", we think he has batteries in him!  Luckily he loves the show ring, performs like a real trouper, and has had some very lovely wins at GRC champ shows.

Gilly won Intermediate in show and the  Reserve Dog CC at the NSW GRC Champ show in September 2007.  This was the 2nd year in a row he won the RDCC at this prestigious show (still not aged 3), - both times under well-respected international breed specialist judges.  In fact Gilly has won a specialty RDCC four times in different states and across nearly 8 years of shows.

PS Don't tell any of my other dogs, but Gilly is my all-time favourite boy!

Most sadly we had to farewell our beautiful boy on 21 December 2019 - gone but not forgotten.  Rest in Peace precious man.

Gilly at his last National - GRCV October 2014. Some of the entrants in the Veterans' Parade at the Welcome Ceremony.

"Absolutely outstanding front assembly on this dog.  Beautiful neck into shoulder, great return of elbow, good depth of body.  Really nice coat quality, good bone, good bend of stifle, and lovely head and expression.  Dark, dark eyes and pigments.  Truly a nice dog who has lost his rear just a little on the move but what a lovely dog."

"Today, for me, he stood away in this class on his first circuit of the ring.  Loved the balance of his head and the soft expression enhanced by excellent pigment.  Clean length of neck into very well constructed shoulders, level topline and well turned stifle, well muscled and fit, moved out true and straight, driving from behind.  A well deserved RCC."
